Camp Toccoa’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve

Missing summer camp? Join us for an overnight at Camp Toccoa this winter!
Join us on December 31st to ring in 2025! Some of your favorite counselors from Summer 2024 will be there to lead the fun. Enjoy activities like glow in the dark bowling, balloon archery, a movie, dancing, and the all-important BALL DROP!  Weather permitting, there will be a night hike and goal setting at the lake.

Grades 1 – 8
$60 for the first participant; $10 discount for additional participants from the same family
$20 deposit per child due at registration.  The balance will charge on December 23rd.
 

About New Year’s Rockin’ Eve

Camp Toccoa’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve is perfect for new campers who want to experience overnight camp at Camp Toccoa for the first time, or returning campers who want to reunite with friends and staff. Campers will experience the magic Camp Toccoa has to offer while celebrating the new year with friends.

What to Expect

Campers should expect to have an adventure-filled slumber party!  Experience spending the night at camp, eating in the dining hall, making new friends and trying new things. Your favorite camp activities plus fun evening programs: Don’t miss out on glow-in-the-dark bowling, balloon archery, a movie, music, and of course a midnight ball drop! Weather permitting, there will be a night hike and lantern launch at the lake.

Meals

Meals and snacks are provided throughout the weekend (dinner Tuesday through breakfast Wednesday). Please note during registration if your camper is a vegetarian. If your camper has other special dietary needs, please contact Camp Fire Georgia at info@campfirega.org.

What to Pack

For those who have never attended Camp Toccoa before please view the CT New Year’s Packing List. Make sure to pack weather-appropriate clothes; hat, gloves, and a rain jacket are recommended as campers will be
participating in outdoor activities.   Bring a warm sleeping bag, pillow, sheets and any toiletries that you need, including shower shoes (flip flops) for the bathhouse. A flashlight, water bottle and closed toe shoes and socks are camp necessities!

We ask campers not to bring any cell phones or electronic devices. If present, they will be collected and kept by camp staff during the event. Camp Fire Georgia is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged, or forgotten cell phones and/or electronic devices.

Drop Off and Pick Up

Our Rockin’ New Year’s Eve will be held at Camp Toccoa in Toccoa, Georgia. Camp Toccoa is located on Highway Alternate 17, inside the Toccoa city limits.  The street address is 92 Camp Toccoa Drive Toccoa, GA 30577. The camp is one-half mile north of Stephens County Hospital and one-half mile south of The Links at Lake Toccoa Golf Course.

Drop-Off will be between 3:00 and 4:00 pm on Tuesday, December 31st.
Pick-Up will be between 10:00 and 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 1st.

Medical Forms

The staff have been trained in CPR and First Aid.  In the event of sickness, fever, or injuries that require medical attention the parent will be notified and asked to pick the participant up early from the event.

Each camper is required to have a Basic Basic Medical History Form.  The form can be turned in upon the camper’s arrival or emailed to info@campfirega.org.

All prescription medication must be received in its original container accompanied by the Medication Administration Record.  Only the exact amount of medication required for the weekend will be accepted.
