About the Camp Fire 90th Alumni Reunion

The alumni reunion is a time for friends and family of Camp Fire Camp Toccoa to come together and enjoy camp with friends old and new.   All are welcome!

What to Expect

Do you miss the smell of roasting marshmallows or the sound of peepers in the evening?  Forget about work, disconnect from technology and enjoy the simple pleasures of camp again.  Relax and enjoy the lodge rocking chairs, conquer your fears on our brand new climbing wall or share your favorite trail with family.  Whatever you do, take time to reconnect with friends and nature.

Lodging & M
eals

Feel free to join us just for the day or to stay in one of your favorite Camp Fire Camp Toccoa cabin.  Your family and friends can request a full Full Cabin (Up to 9 people) for $100.   A shared cabin is $15 per person for the evening.   Participants will be asked to selecting their unit preference when reserving lodging.  If you plan to stay off site, we recommend the near by  Country Hearth Inn  that is about a mile from camp.

Saturday lunch and dinner is included in the registration fee.   All participants will be able to select their lunch sandwich choices as part of the registration process.   Lunch will be served on the back porch of the Tasnena Lodge.  Enjoy a catered dinner with family and friends in Tsani Hall.

For those staying overnight an À la carte breakfast (Sunday morning) can be added to your registration for $7 per person.

If anyone in your group special dietary needs please contact Camp Fire Camp Toccoa at (706) 886-2457 as you may need to bring supplemental meals.

What to Pack

Make sure to pack weather-appropriate clothes; we are hoping for a beautiful day with sunny skies!   The pool will be open, grab your suit and join us “when days are hot, when days are cold, in the swimming pool!”

Long sleeves and rain jacket may be necessary as many of the activities will take place outdoors.  Closed toed shoes and socks will be required for some activities and are highly recommend in general as Camp Fire Camp Toccoa has a rough terrain.   Bring a warm sleeping bag, pillow, sheets and any toiletries that you need.  Shower shoes (flip flops) for the bathhouse, a flashlight and water bottle are also recommended. Don’t forget your camera and any memory items from your time ‘beneath the pines that you would like to share.

T-Shirts & Trading Post

A t-shirt is included with all registrations. You may choose to pre order an extra t-shirt or long sleeved t-shirt.  The Trading Post (camp store) will be open throughout the weekend and alumni will be able to purchase unit shirts and other small Camp Fire Camp Toccoa trinkets such as flashlights & water bottles.   You may choose to pay with cash, check or credit.

A walk down memory lane!

We are looking for any photos you may have from your years at camp – if you can put them in digital form, please send them to alumni@campfirega.org   Additionally, if you have any songs you want to sing stories you want to tell, or other things to be included in our closing reflection please e-mail  alumni@campfirega.org with your ideas!
